Description
The storage bay on the Horn O' Plenty, used primarily for the storage of non-vital luxury items, such as pelts and occasional gems. Dirt, fresh and ready for use in planting and harvesting, is also a common good brought transported through here. These trade goods form the backbone of the Wise Men's ability to trade and interact with the Earthborn when in need of supplies. A lively, rambunctious atmosphere tends to pervade this space on land- animal skin hoods are erected dangling from the ship above, and musical performers and dancers can sometimes be seen nearby.
In most cases for the average Earthborn, this part of the ship is one of thew few aspects of the Wise Men they ever experience- the appeal of strangers and new ships pulling into a city or town is often heralded with excitement and curiosity, and the fact that exotic items from other islands are up for trade certainly doesn't harm this perception.
When the Horn O' Plenty is in the air this space is packed as full as it could be made and still usable when needed. A three box high maze of boxes stacked three high characterizes this area of the ship after the ship's initial departure- space is limited, among families especially, and so space-optimizing procedures are put into place, but the aisles are spaced far enough apart that others going through the area can access items on the top-most layer of boxes.
